The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.
SASSA are going to be rendering providers for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency claimed it is actually alarmed with regards to the significant range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a high amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office focused on service the area every day. The service issue designed for intervention encounters a superior influx of potential beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for your Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra sources to empower the servicing of website all customers and enhance usage of Social Assistance status sassa providers,” the agency said.
